Description: This award is awarded to the wrestler that we feel improved the most from last season.

Breakdown: Ashton Jackson ran away with this award, along with his state title. Jackson was not necessary bad last year, that wouldn't be fair to say, but he was nowhere near what he was this season. Last year Jackson didn't win his conference and only on the sectional in the postseason. He was also beaten by a backup from Perry Meridisan in the early rounds of the Al Smith before dropping a match on the backside and not placing there as well. This year he was on a tear. He had 1 loss at 106, and won every tournament he entered this season. From conferecne on, Jackson gave up 14 points in 5 matches to end the season, while giving up 1 takedown.
