Description: This award is awarded to the wrestler that we feel improved the most throughout the season.

 

Breakdown: This is award is for the guys that may have not started their season on the best note, but was able to turn it around and make a trip to the Bank. Avon’s Blaze Garcia “struggled” in the early part of this season, but he was able to find his groove as the season went on. He was 12-11 about midway through the season and finished 14-5 while qualifying for the state tournament. A close second was Zionsville’s Matthew Magnus. He was 8-7 after getting eliminated from Al Smith, and he was able to go 15-9 punching his ticket to the state tournament.
