INDIANAPOLIS- Greyhound redshirt sophomore Jack Eiteljorge has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Wrestler of the Week, announced by the league office Tuesday morning.

Eiteljorge, currently ranked #5 at 165 in the NWCA Division II Coaches Rankings, moved to 4-0 on the young season with a pair of wins Saturday against regional opponents. The Carmel, Ind., native notched his first win of the day 7-6 over Findlay's Hunter Reed, and followed with a 3-2 decision over #6 Bryan LaVearn of Tiffin. His wins helped the #11 Greyhounds to a pair of wins over #T17 Findlay and #8 Tiffin on the day.

This marks the first GLVC Wrestler of the Week honor for Eiteljorge, and the first for a Greyhound this season. The last UIndy wrestler to be named GLVC Wrestler of the Week was Dawson Combest, who earned the accolade in the final week of last season.

Eiteljorge and the Greyhounds head back into GLVC action this weekend, hosting #5 McKendree Sunday at 11 a.m. in the Ruth Lilly Fitness Center. While no spectators will be allowed, all action will be streamed live on the GLVC Sports Network.
