First round match-ups
Franklin Community vs Terre Haute South
Roncalli is really down this year and Franklin is really good. Franklin is the favorite to win this bracket and should breeze through this matchup. There aren’t a whole lot of matchups to watch here since Terre Haute’s best kids don’t match up with any of Franklin’s better guys.

Northridge vs East Central
Northridge has some solid guys but not the guys to take out East Central. Nearly every kid on Central’s roster has a name that you probably know and those guys are all tough.
East Central advances
Hobart vs Mishawaka
While I do believe this is a better matchup for Hobart, I still don’t see them beating Mishawaka in this one. It will be a close dual but I see the Cavemen winning 8 matches in this dual and that will be the deciding factor. While Hobart’s better guys are better than Mishawaka’s, Mishawaka has tough guys to prevent them from picking up quality wins.

Roncalli vs Floyd Central
Due to a late change, Floyd Central gets the call to wrestle this weekend. They are a tough team and with Roncalli being down this year, they should roll here. Roncalli is having a year where they are taking their lumps and I can’t see them being competitive in this matchup.

Franklin Community vs East Central
This is going to be a great dual and East Central has matchups they want here and could pull off the upset here. If you go through the matchups, East Central’s fate comes down to their “bad” kids. They will match up against the better guys for Franklin and if they want any chance of winning this dual those guys have to stay off their back. Franklin is well coached and I see their guys doing their job.

Mishawaka vs Floyd Central
The thing that makes no sense here is that Floyd Central gets pulled in and gets gifted the second seed here. I know it’s a last minute thing and I don’t think they are the 8th team here but they should not be the 2 seed here. With all that being said, Floyd Central will be getting a late Christmas gift by making the finals here with the late invite. Floyd Central has a handful of hammers and are a solid team, and I am somewhat surprised that they did not get invited in the first place. Mishawaka has a more complete team from top to bottom, but lack the hammers.
