This weeks Hoosiermat Wrestler Of The Week award goes to Joseph Walker of Mishawaka. Walker navigated the toughest, and deepest weight class at this weekends Al Smith tournament. Walker picked up bonus points in his 4 matches leading up to the finals, including a dominating 13-3 major decision over returning state placer Jake Lone of NorthWood in the semi-finals. In the finals it was all Walker in what could have been a preview of the state finals. Walker rolled to a 7-1 decision over 2nd ranked Aiden Warren of Perry Meridian.
