RECENT COMMITMENTS

Elliott Rodgers, Cathedral, has committed to wrestle for the Knights of Marian. Rodgers is a a 2019 state champion and finished 4th in 2017, 2nd in 2018, and 3rd this year. Rodgers is projected to wrestle 165 in college.

Crown Point state runner-up Noah Hollendonner has committed to wrestle for the University of the Cumberlands. Hollendonner is a 2-time state qualifier, finished 2nd this year. Hollendonner is projected to wrestle 165 at the next level.

Five members of the Purdue wrestling team recieved All-America honors Friday as seniors Dylan Lydy and Christian Brunner, juniors Devin Schroder and Griffin Parriott and freshman Kendall Coleman were all recognized by the NWCA.

Carmel's Joey Langeman has committed to wrestl for Trine University next year. Langeman is a 2-time semi-state qualifier, Langeman projects at 133 in college.

Hamilton Southeastern's Jacob Simone has committed to wrestle for the Knights of Marian University. Simones is a 2019 state placer, after getting 8th at 113. Simone projects as a 125 pounder in college.

On Thursday, the National Coaches Association (NWCA) announced the NAIA Women's Wrestling National Coach of the Year Award and Campbellsville's Lee Miracle earned the honor.

Portage's Ty Haskins has committed to wrestle for the Knights of Marian University. Haskins is a 2019 state qualifier and projects as a 125 pounder in college.

Castle's Robert Deters has committed to wrestle for the Hoosiers of Indiana. Deters is a 3-time state qualfier and 2-time state placer, placing 6th in 2019 before winning it this year Deters is projected to wrestle 174 in college.

Will Stewart, South Spencer, has commiteed to wrestle for Marian University next year. Stewart placed at state the last two years, getting 8th in 2019 and 7th this year. Stewart projects to wrestle heavyweight in college.

State Champion Eli Dickens, Evansville Mater Dei, has committed to wreslte next year for the Bisons of George Mason. Dickens is a 3-time state qualifier, 2-time state placer, and a state champion. Dickens projects at 165 at the next level.

Roncalli's Tyce Freije has committed to wrestle for Wabash next fall. Freije is a 2-time state placer, finishing 8th in 2017 and 4th in 2019. Tyce is projected to wrestle 149 at the next level.

Brownsburg state champion, Dorian Keys, has committed to wrestle for the Boilermakers of Purdue. Keys is a 2019 state champion, and a 3rd placer this year. He will be a heavyweight at the next level.

Cathedral's Logan Bailey has committed to wrestle with brother next year at the University of Indianapolis. Logan is a 2-time state placer, finishing 3rd in 2018 and 2nd this past year. Bailey projects to be a 141 at the next level.

UIndy Wrestling wrapped up its regular season Sunday, closing out the Great Lakes Valley Conference slate with the final two duals of the season at the GLVC finale at Maryville. Following the conclusion of the duals, the GLVC Wrestling postseason awards were voted on by the league's coaches...

Brandon James of Marian (Ind.) has been named the American Midwest Conference (AMC) Wrestler of the Week, the conference office announced Monday. James was selected based on his performances from Dec. 9-15. 

 After taking home the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational 174-pound title Saturday, Purdue senior Dylan Lydy kept adding awards being named Big Ten Co-Wrestler of the Week on Tuesday by the conference office.

Angola Senior Jett Boots has committed to wrestle next year for Trine University. The senior is a returning state qualifier and projects at 126 in college.

4-time defending champion, Brownsburg return to defend their title. Evansville Mater Dei looks to build from last year as they bring nearly everyone back from last years 4th place team.

Redshirt freshman Brayton Lee earned his first Big Ten Wrestler of the Week award after claiming the 149-pound Cliff Keen Las Vegas title, the conference announced on Tuesday.

Sophomore Mason Parris captured the heavyweight crown to headline the No. 22-ranked University of Michigan wrestling team's performance at the 38th annual Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational.

Plymouth's Graham Calhoun has committed to the Badgers of Wisconsin. Graham is a 3-time state qualifier placing  7th in 2017 and 5th in 2019. He is a NHSCA Sophomore champion and Super 32 7th place finisher. He projects at 174 at the next level.

Central Michigan's Drew Hildebrandt was named the Mid-American Conference West Division Wrestler of the Week after going 3-0 to win the 125-pound weight class on Sunday in the Black Knight Invitational.

Brownsburg's Peyton Asbury has committed to continue his wrestling career at Notre Dame College. Asbury is a returning state placer, placing 8th last year. He is currently ranked 5th at 160, and projects at 165 at the next level.

Greenfield-Central's Cooper Noehre has committed to the Boilermakers of Purdue. Noehre comes in as a returning runner-up and is currently ranked 3rd at 160. He projected to be a 157 at the next level.

Chris Wilkerson will be joining his brother next year at the University of Indianapolis. He's a returning state placer, 7th in 2019, and is ranked 4th at 138. He is projected to wrestle 141 next year.

Brown County's David Tucker has committed to wrestle for the University of Indianapolis next year. Tucker made it to the ticket round last year and will look to punch his ticket in his senior season. He is currently ranked 16th at 145. He projects at 149 in college.

 Colton Gonzalez of the Marian wrestling team has been named the American Midwest Conference Wrestler of the Week as announced by the conference Monday afternoon. The award is the first of his career at Marian.

After going three seasons without a weekly honor from the conference, the Purdue wrestling team has now seen an individual recognized in back-to-back weeks to open 2019-20 as senior Dylan Lydy was named the Big Ten Wrestler of the Week on Tuesday. Click here for full story...

Mishawaka's Joseph Walker has committed to wrestle for Wolverines of Michigan. Walker is a 2-time qualifier and 1-time placewinner, placing 6th in 2019. Walker placed 3rd at Super 32 in October, and is currently ranked 3rd at 170. He projects to be a 184 at the next level.

Avon's Ray Rioux has committed to wrestle for the Greyhounds of Indianapolis. Rioux is a 3-time state placer, including a runner-up finish in 2019. He projects at 133.

Indiana Tech Redshirt senior Scottie Sopko was named the Sooner Athletic Conference Men's Wrestler of the Week, the conference ffice announced Monday.

3-Time state qualifier, Hunter Cottingham has committed to wrestle for the Greyhounds of the University of Indianapolis. Hunter has made it downtown each year of his high school career and is currently ranked 6th at 138. He projects to be a 141 at the next level.

After a year training freestyle, Jacob Moran has committed to wrestle for the Hoosier of IU next fall. Moran is a 2-time state champ, NHSCA National Champion, and Fargo All-American, placing 4th in 2017. Moran projects to be a 125 at the next level.
